How to Bulk Upload Images to Printify
This guide shows how to upload multiple JPEG, PNG, and SVG files to your Printify Media Library with the Printify Bulk Uploader Chrome extension.
What this tutorial shows
You will learn how to install the Chrome extension, create a Printify API token, add the token to the uploader, select multiple images, and start one bulk upload batch.
What you need
- Google Chrome or another Chromium-based browser that supports Chrome extensions.
- A Printify account with access to the API token page.
- JPEG, PNG, or SVG files ready to upload to your Printify Media Library.
Step 1: Install the Chrome extension
Open the Chrome Web Store listing, add Printify Bulk Uploader to your browser, and launch the extension from Chrome.
Step 2: Create a Printify API token
In Printify, open the API token page from your account settings and create an API token. Keep the token private because it allows uploads to your Printify account.
Step 3: Add your token
Paste your Printify API token into the token field inside the extension and save it. The extension uses this token to upload images directly to your Printify Media Library.
Step 4: Drag and drop images
Select or drag multiple JPEG, PNG, or SVG files into the uploader. The extension lists the files so you can review them before starting the upload.
Step 5: Start bulk upload
Click the upload button to send the selected images in one batch. You can watch the progress and review any failed files after the batch finishes.
Common errors
- Invalid Printify API token
- If the token is invalid or expired, create a new token in Printify and paste the new value into the extension.
- Unsupported file type
- Printify Bulk Uploader accepts JPEG, PNG, and SVG files. Other file types should be converted before upload.
- Daily free upload limit reached
- Free users can upload up to 10 images per day. Upgrade to Pro if you need unlimited daily uploads for active Printify selling.
